New Year, New Blog, New Post!

The quote in my header by C.S. Lewis is one of my favorites. In 10 short words it sums up my life. My reality has definitely been - not neat, not obvious, and not what I expected. I am sure most of us have felt this at some point in our life, but maybe it's a good thing our lives have not turned out the way we had planned.  An all-knowing God sees the bigger picture and knows full well what experiences we need to bring us closer to Him and our true, divine identity!  Would we want to relive certain challenges...NO WAY...but we also wouldn't want to give up the priceless knowledge we gained because of those challenges. Learning hurts, patience is a tough teacher, and life is to be lived regardless of it all! My hope for this New Year is that our "Realities" shape our mind and character for the better.
